‘Inches to Miles’ Ironman Film, Produced by Brewery, Set for Debut in Oceanside

America’s largest non-alcoholic brewery, Athletic Brewing Company, will debut its second documentary film Inches to Miles, in Oceanside on Friday.
The feature-length film, to screen at Regal Cinemas, follow three athletes as they prepare for and compete in the 2023 Ironman competition in Lake Placid. Faced with a variety of challenges, the athletes must find the courage to reach their goals.
“Inches to Miles is a powerful story about the importance of community and the pursuit of progress,” said Mason Gravley, of Athletic Brewing, who also serves as the film’s executive producer. “Nobody makes it to the finish alone and this film beautifully illustrates the dedication required to achieve a goal and the importance of having community support along the way.”
Tickets for the 3:30 p.m. screening are on sale on Eventbrite for $10. A selection of Athletic brews will be provided.
Inches to Miles was directed and produced by Cole Heilborn of Port Side Productions. Athletic Brewing plans to release the film digitally in June.
The debut of Inches to Miles marks the beginning of Athletic Brewing Co. Studios, focused on crafting compelling long-form storytelling content.
“At the heart of our ethos lies the belief that authentic narratives sourced from our growing community serve as powerful vehicles to convey our core values,” Gravley said.
Athletic also is the official non-alcoholic beer provider for the Ironman Global Series and the title sponsor of the April 6 Ironman 70.3 Oceanside.
Launched in 2018 in Connecticut, Athletic Brewing has expanded to San Diego with a production plant near Miramar. The brewer is the number one non-alcoholic beer brand in the U.S., with over 18% market share.
