‘One of Them Days’ Opens on Top at Box Office with $11.6 Million

“One Of Them Days,” a buddy comedy starring Keke Palmer and SZA, opened atop the box office with $11.6 million to lead all films in North America, according to industry estimates released Sunday.

The Sony Pictures release barely edged out “Mufasa: The Lion King,” which earned $11.5 million Friday through Sunday in its fifth week in theaters, Comscore reported.

“Wolf Man,” Blumhouse’s latest take on the horror classic, opened with $10.5 million for third place.

“Sonic the Hedgehog 3” was fourth with $8.6 million in its fifth weekend, followed by “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera,” which slipped to fifth place with $6.6 million one week after opening in first place.

Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases were “Moana 2” ($6 million), “Nosferatu” ($4.3 million), “A Complete Unknown” ($3.7 million), “Wicked” ($3.5 million) and “Babygirl” ($2 million).
