‘Titanic’ April at Rooftop Cinema Club Features Films, Mini-Marathons, Silent Disco


San Diego’s Rooftop Cinema Club will offer a variety of iconic films and fun events in April.
Catch classics like Top Gun, Goodfellas, Shrek, Mufasa: The Lion King, and The Mighty Ducks. For music fans, there’s screenings of Empire Records, Mamma Mia!, The Greatest Showman, Bohemian Rhapsody, a Grease sing-along and the Disco for the Dolls Silent Disco.
Grab your tickets at Rooftop Cinema Club San Diego. The schedule includes:
- TV Mini-Marathons – April 3, a triple-episode mini-marathon of “Gilmore Girls”; April 24, “Parks & Recreation” takes center stage.
- Empire Records – it’s been 30 years since the release of the cult classic. Celebrate April 8.
- Titanic – April 14 marks the 113th anniversary of the Titanic disaster, and Rooftop Cinema Club is commemorating the event with a screening of Titanic, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.
- Silent Disco – April 17, get ready to dance the night away at the “Charli, Chappell, and Carpenter: Disco for the Dolls” Silent Disco event.
- Perfect Date Night – April 25, Miss Congeniality, starring Sandra Bullock.
- Easter Saturday Celebration – 2 p.m. screening of Zootopia, with the Easter Bunny and Easter treats.
- Fireside Films – April marks the final month before the heaters are stored for the warmer months. Located in the prime seating section, this experience features two-person loveseats with wood-burning heaters and a complimentary warm beverage. It’s available for all films starting at 5 p.m. or later.
- Wooftop and Open Caption Screenings – pet-friendly screenings for select films, including Shrek on April 6 and Mufasa: The Lion King on April 20. Dogs must be kept on a leash and a special relief area will be available.
Additionally, open-caption screenings for hearing-impaired guests include Dirty Dancing on April 12 and Friday on April 25.
