‘Superman’ set to take over San Diego’s Belmont Park

Fans worldwide are buzzing with excitement for the return of the iconic DC Comics hero, Superman.
Featuring David Corenswet as Clark Kent, the film marks the beginning of a new chapter for DC Studios, hitting theaters nationwide on July 11.
To celebrate the upcoming release, award-winning local artist J.T. Estrela of San Diego Sand Castles will create a sand sculpture honoring Superman on Thursday at Mission Beach. The sculpture is expected to be completed by around 3:30 p.m.
San Diegans are invited to stop by, admire the artwork, and pick up free promotional items from the film, while supplies last.
