ACCEF Chinese New Year Performance to Celebrate Culture and Support San Diego Fire-Rescue Department

The American Chinese Culture and Education Foundation reports it is excited to present its 16th Annual Chinese New Year Performance, a celebration of Chinese heritage that also supports the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The vent will be on Sunday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, 15498 Espola Road, Poway.
This year’s event will showcase traditional Chinese performances, featuring mesmerizing dance, thrilling Kung Fu demonstrations, enchanting music, and more. Community leaders, ACCEF supporters, and the public will come together for a night that blends cultural immersion with charitable giving.
One of the evening’s key moments will be the formal check presentation to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Foundation. Thanks to ACCEF donors, an $18,000 donation will be made in recognition of the department’s unwavering dedication to fire safety and emergency response—especially during recent wildfire seasons. These funds will support essential initiatives such as brush management, community outreach, and advanced firefighter training.
“We are thrilled to combine our annual celebration of Chinese culture with a meaningful opportunity to give back to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. Their dedication to our community is truly inspiring, and we are proud to support their vital work,” according to the ACCEF.
ACCEF also collaborates with various American community organizations, and representatives from these partner groups will be in attendance. The gala serves as a valuable platform for fostering community engagement and cultural exchange.
