Evening with Henry Winkler, ‘The Fonz,’ Set for Garfield Theatre Sept. 26

From his breakout role as “The Fonz” on Happy Days to becoming acting coach Gene Cousineau on HBO’s comedy Barry, Henry Winkler has decades of success as an actor, producer, and director.

Now you can hear Winkler live in San Diego.

The New York Times bestselling author, who recently released his new memoir, Being Henry, will share inspirational lessons from his life and career on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. at the David & Dorothea Garfield Theatre at the Lawrence Family JCC.

Audiences always leave Henry’s presentations inspired and entertained. Through humorous anecdotes and inspirational life lessons about overcoming adversity in his storied career in television and entertainment, groups of all ages can learn from Henry’s speeches.

His passion for supporting others is the result of a lifetime struggle with undiagnosed dyslexia. Henry has worked tirelessly to bring awareness and support to children who learn differently by advocating for educational system changes and informing parents and teachers about learning challenges.

Winkler will celebrate 50 years of success in Hollywood this year and continues to be in demand not only as an actor, producer, and director but also as a best-selling children’s book author.
