Taste of Little Italy — June 17 & 18, from 4 to 8 p.m.
San Diego’s most delicious block party has returned, where you can enjoy 48 square blocks of Little Italy during this two-night culinary celebration. Each evening features a different lineup of 15+ restaurants offering curated bites and sips. Start the night by picking up your Taste Passport at the Piazza della Famiglia, then enjoy live music, outdoor seating, and all the mouthwatering flavors Little Italy is known for.
Summer Sera — July 2 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Little Italy’s streets transform into a family-friendly, community-focused summer soirée. Summer Sera is the perfect midweek escape with face painting, flower crown-making, dozens of local vendors, and live music. Proceeds benefit the Little Italy Association’s beautification efforts and neighborhood programming.
Little Italy Mercato — Every Saturday & Wednesday
Wander through six blocks of farm-fresh produce, artisan goods, handmade gifts, and local eats every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at San Diego County’s largest farmers’ market. For a more intimate vibe, stop by on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Al Fresco Dining
Rooftop brunch, sunset cocktails, sidewalk cafés—Little Italy was made for outdoor dining. Cool off with cocktails and Caribbean fusion at Coco Maya, people-watch over pastries at Frost Me Bakery & Cafe, or enjoy skyline views at Above Ash Social and Kettner Exchange. From oysters to aperitivos, the summer vibes are served fresh.
Shopping ‘Till You Drop
