Once you’ve given Dad his tie and golf paraphernalia, it’s time to toast Dad.

And if you’re planning to take Dad out for brunch this Father’s Day, a couple of San Diego spots are putting together menus that go beyond the usual bacon and eggs.

Glass Box (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.) – $65 per person
Glass Box is offering an all-you-can-eat brunch that mixes classic breakfast staples with Asian-inspired dishes. Expect options like build-your-own omelets, eggs Benedict, and pancakes with toppings like ube whipped cream and bananas foster. On the Asian side, there’s fresh nigiri, sushi rolls, longevity noodles, fried rice, and robata skewers with chicken, beef, or pork belly. Bottomless mimosas are available for $15. Reservations are recommended.

Cork & Craft (10 a.m. to p.m.)
In Rancho Bernardo, Cork & Craft is serving a wide-ranging brunch with savory dishes like corned beef hash, garlic fried rice, shakshuka, Japanese-style egg sandwiches, and chilaquiles. Sweet options include banana split waffles, churro donut holes, cookies & cream French toast, and a giant cinnamon roll. The on-site brewery, Abnormal Beer Co., will also be pouring during brunch hours.
