Got $40,000? Here’s an Around-the-World Cruise (or Two) for You

Oceania Cruises has announced its “Around the World” cruise, along with its “Global Wanderlust” option, a 120-day voyage that departs from San Diego.
There’s an additional West Coast departure, “World Odyssey,” a 197-day cruise from Los Angeles. Both conclude in Miami.
The inaugural “Around the World” voyage, though, departing from Miami aboard the new ship Vista, will cover 101 ports across 43 countries in 2026. Bookings begin Wednesday.
The boutique 1,200-guest vessel will cross three oceans and 18 seas, exploring Southeast Asia and Australia, the South Pacific, Europe and South America.
“After the remarkable success of our most recent world cruises, we have been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to present travelers with an even more extraordinary experience for our 2026 voyage,” remarked Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. “… With this new voyage, we are excited to offer a rare chance to experience the world from an entirely new perspective – and further forward the future of global cruising.”
Naturally, living at sea for months on end will cost you. The “Around the World” cruise starts at $59,699 per person.
What do you get for the fare? Exotic ports of call, of course, and Vista‘s 11 onboard culinary venues, including the lines’ newest additions, Aquamar Kitchen, offering an array of wellness-inspired dishes, the Bakery at Baristas and the new signature restaurant, Ember.
As for the West Coast departures? The San Diego cruise will be at sea from March 7, 2026 to July 6, 2026. Fares start at $42,000. The longest option, the Los Angeles cruise, leaves Dec. 20, 2025, also returning July 6, 2026, with fares starting at $63,000 a person.
