Le Salon de Musiques Captivates Audiences with the French Beauty of La Belle Epoque

This Sunday, Le Salon de Musiques is again immersing San Diego audiences in the beauty of France, transforming the La Jolla Women’s Club using art and culture from the European country’s “beautiful era,” La Belle Epoque.
The evening will begin at 4 p.m. with a chamber concert featuring a lineup of classics by famous French composers. The voice, string, and piano ensemble will include works from:
- Duparc, Faure, Han, Poulenc – Songs for Soprano and Piano
- Saint-Saens – Prino Trio No.2 in E minor Op 92
- Chausson – Piano Trio in G minor Op 3
Le Salon de Musique has selected a group of musicians for Sunday night’s performance, each world-renowned for their musical skills.
To usher in the sixth concert of the season, the stage will welcome Soprano Elissa Johnston, Violinist Ambroise Aubrun, Celloist Allan Hon and Pianist Jacopo Giacopuzzi.
After the concert, guests can further their experience by attending an organized Q&A session with the musicians, whether to discuss the story behind each movement or to learn more about the performers behind each instrument.
Desserts by Clement will be catering a high tea buffet with French champagne after the performance as well, offering a variety of gourmet sandwiches, pastries and cakes for guests to choose from.
All tickets are non-refundable, but each will include food as well as music with their purchase. Student prices are offered at a discounted rate of $69 and regular prices are a standard rate of $120 per person.
