Pride Festival Lineup Packed with 300 Artists; Headliners Include Todrick Hall, Sheila E.

Todrick Hall, Rico Nasty and Sheila E. will headline the annual Pride festival in July, with more than 300 musical acts on four stages.
The event, on July 20-21, will feature emerging local and international LGBTQIA+ artists. This year’s theme is “Making History Now,” in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first LGBTQ+ Pride marches in San Diego.
“As an out, queer, black artist, who uses drag to express myself, I am honored to be Making History Now at San Diego Pride, to entertain and stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community in San Diego and across the world,” said Hall, an advocate, producer and Broadway performer.
Multi-platinum rapper and singer Rico Nasty also will perform, along with undisputed queen of percussion Sheila E., a long-time collaborator with the late Prince.
Sheila E. is set to release of her debut salsa album, “Bailar.”
Tickets are on sale at the Pride website. Proceeds will benefit the year-round programs and events of San Diego Pride, including their Pride Community Grants program that has distributed over $3.5 million to local organizations that serve LGBTQ+ causes.
