The San Diego Air & Space Museum is inviting visitors to share their love for aviation by entering a photo contest for a chance to win a behind-the-scenes VIP tour.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, the museum will display the 20-foot-tall “Heart of America” inflatable balloon and American flag in front of its Balboa Park location.

Visitors are encouraged to snap a photo with the giant heart, post it on social media using #iHeartSDASM and tag @sdasm to enter.

One lucky participant will win a VIP tour for 10 people led by museum President & CEO Jim Kidrick, organizers said.

The “Heart of America,” created by Rancho Santa Fe-based Spirit of Liberty Foundation, honors everyday heroes and was first unveiled during the museum’s national Celebration of America on July 4, 2024.

Entries must be posted by Feb. 14, with the winner announced shortly after, according to SDASM.
