San Diego Misses Cut for Kendrick Lamar’s Stadium Tour – Where to Go Instead

Kendrick Lamar and SZA will hit the road together in 2025 – but you’ll have to head north or east to see them.
Lamar and SZA have announced the Grand National Tour, which will travel to 19 stadiums across North America next spring and summer, but skip San Diego.
Instead, locals can plan road trips around Memorial Day. Two stops are planned at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles May 21 and 23, with Las Vegas and Glendale, Ariz., coming up the following week.
Tickets go on sale Friday. A presale for Cash App Visa Card holders started Wednesday.
The tour news arrives less than two weeks after Lamar released his latest album, “GNX,” which features SZA on two tracks: “Luther” and “Gloria.”
In a review, AP described the album as leaning into the same pride, self-righteous anger and supreme confidence that fueled the Grammy-nominated “Not Like Us,” which dominated the summer and gave Lamar the win in his feud with Drake.
The tour kicks off April 19 in Minneapolis. Other stops include Houston, Atlanta, .Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto and Washington D.C.
